How to modify stop-loss and take-profit

Follow the steps below to modify the stop-loss and/or take-profit levels on an open trade in MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5.

1. Open your MT4 or MT5 platform

Open your MT4 or MT5 platform.

2. Go to the Terminal or Toolbox

Go to the Terminal (MT4) or Toolbox (MT5) at the bottom of the screen.

3. Click the Trade tab

Click on the Trade tab to view your open positions.

4. Right-click on the order

Right-click on the order you want to modify.

5. Select “Modify or Delete Order”

Select “Modify or Delete Order” from the context menu.

6. Enter your Stop-Loss and/or Take-Profit levels

Enter your desired Stop-Loss and/or Take-Profit price levels in the fields provided.n the order window, click the “Close” button (yellow button) to confirm.

7. Click “Modify” to confirm

Click “Modify” to confirm and save your changes.
